Vignette

Membership terms

Last updated November 1, 2026

These terms cover membership in the Vignette Camera Club, run by Intrafocal LLC, doing business as Vignette Camera, in Beacon, NY. By joining the waitlist or becoming a member, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to join.

Membership

A membership is a personal, non-transferable membership in a club. The Chrome and Black cards are membership cards. They aren't credit or payment cards, and they carry no cash value. Benefits for each card are listed on the club page, and we may change them over time.

The waitlist and founding prices

Joining the waitlist costs nothing, and we won't charge you before dues begin on November 28, 2026. You can leave the waitlist at any time. Members on an annual plan who join by November 27, 2026 are founding members, and keep their founding price for as long as they stay members.

Dues and renewal

Dues are charged in advance, monthly or annually depending on your plan, and New York sales tax is added. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If we change a price, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time, and you'll keep your benefits until the end of the period you've paid for. Annual memberships are non-refundable, and dues already paid for a month aren't refunded.

The camera library

Library cameras belong to Vignette and are for members to borrow. You're responsible for a camera from pickup until you return it. We note its condition at both ends. Normal wear is fine. Damage that limits a camera's use for other members carries a fee, and so does a camera that isn't returned. We may charge these fees to the card on file for your membership.

Your conduct

Please treat other members, our staff, the shop and the cameras with respect. We may suspend or end a membership for abuse, non-return of a camera, unpaid fees or misuse of the club. If we end a membership without cause, we'll refund the unused part of your dues.

Your work

Your photographs stay yours. If you choose to submit work for our look book, gallery or social channels, you let us display and share it there, with credit, until you ask us to stop.

Limits

The club and library cameras are provided as they are, and availability isn't guaranteed. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost film or missed work, and our total liability is limited to the dues you've paid in the past 12 months.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we'll update this page and its date, and tell members about significant changes. New York law governs these terms. Our privacy page explains how we handle your information. Questions go to support@vignettecamera.com.
